If like me, you love this classic, clean design of this blog, I’ll share my “secret” weapon. I use WordPress premium themes by WooThemes.
WordPress is an awesome blogging platform. There are plug-ins for just about any feature you can imagine and the really great thing about WordPress is that it is super Search Engine friendly, which is essential for Google placements. WordPress uses “Themes” or designs. There are thousands of free themes and I tried some in the beginning, but the problem is that there is often little to no support for the free themes. I found them often to be quite buggy. I did a lot of research on the premium themes and decided that WooThemes offered great support and a great selection of professional designs.
I haven’t been disappointed in either the service or the themes. In fact they continue to astound me with offering more and more service while lowering their prices! I now have 4 blogs using their themes and several of my friends have also followed my lead and also have several blogs with their themes. Hey, at 3 for the price of one, it’s easy to have several great blogs.
This blog uses a slightly customized version of the gorgeous BusyBee theme — but it comes with 13 “out of the box” color themes that are very beautiful.
