About Me
Hi, I’m Leslie Nicole and Blue Weimaraner Today has been something I’ve had in mind for quite some time now. For years, I’ve been discussing the Blue Weimaraner situation on forums and usually the same topics come up. The comments are generally knee-jerk reactions based on prejudice and often quite a bit of misinformation. I thought it would be good to have a place where “the issues” are talked about in-depth and in a reasoned way. I also wanted a site with nice photographs of Blues to show their beauty.
Also, as I live in France now (I’m American) I see that there is a need to address the status for Blues arriving more and more in Europe. The time is now to cut through the old prejudices that serve no one (except profit-seeking puppymills) and work together for a resolution.
I’ve had Blue Weimaraners for 17 years. I’ve breed one litter in France, which at the time was with the full blessings of the French Weimaraner club. (A subject for another post!) I was one of the founders of the Blue Weimaraner Club of America, but I resigned from the Vice President position as I felt that I could best achieve my goals to be an independant bridge for all countries.
I live in France with my husband Michel, my two Blue Weimaraners, Ellie and Bella, and Agate, the cat. I’m a designer and photographer with a passion for Weimaraners. It’s one of my lifetime goals to have the Blue Weimaranar status resolved, one way or another. It’s also my goal to someday have a Blue Weimaraner Field Champion.
This photograph is me with my two Blue Weimaraners:
